Greg: I always figured that by posting questions here, I WAS reporting issues to Microsoft but I realize now that Microsoft never sees these forums. It is just that I am more familiar with how the old 32 bit version works so that is why I go back to that in a pinch. I also know that there is a newer 2019 version and I have also purchased and installed that. I do notice that after installing the CD to reactivate the app, that all of my history and setting preference have been erased so it is just like I am installing Then I am fine until the next Windows update. Of minutes and then the application starts up. Once I do that, it run the CD for a couple Graeme: I can't tell if it might be a licensing issue, Paint Shop Pro starts up and the icon is still on my computer, but as it partially starts, it stops and asks me to insert the installation CD. Paint Shop Pro is an old 32 bit application and I just don't understand why Windows can't be made to update itself Sarah: I don't really want to prevent Windows 10 updates so I don't think I want to use the "Pause Feature Update" option. Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). The pages appear to be providing accurate, safe information.

When you say that you have to insert the CD to reactivate the program, do you mean the program become unactivated in a licensing sense?
